Hearing Aids in Bonita Springs
Personalized hearing care for Bonita Springs, Estero, & Naples
If your hearing loss calls for hearing aids, Shepherd Hearing Care is here to guide you through choosing the best fit for your hearing needs, your lifestyle, and your budget.Â
Â
Today’s hearing aid technology offers more options for challenging listening environments. We design, program, and maintain these instruments to help each patient get the most from them.

Hearing, Comfort & Looks: The Recipe for Success
Just as no two hearing losses are the same, neither are all hearing solutions. A comprehensive hearing test helps us identify appropriate options. Individual programming then focuses the technology on your hearing needs and the situations that matter most to you.
First, you have to be able to hear
Second, they have to be comfortable
Hearing, Comfort & Looks: The Recipe for Success
Comfort matters because hearing aids are meant to be worn daily. Along with careful programming, we pay attention to how your instruments fit and feel. Our goal is to hear you say, “I forget that I have them on."
Third, they have to look great!
When you feel good about how your hearing aids look, you are more likely to wear them. Modern instruments offer a range of small, discreet designs. Together, we consider your cosmetic preferences, comfort, and ability to handle the instruments when choosing a style.

Hearing Aid Styles
Hearing aids come in several styles. Your hearing loss, ear anatomy, lifestyle, and preferences help determine which options are appropriate.

Receiver-in-Canal (RIC): A small instrument worn behind the ear, connected by a thin wire to a speaker in the ear canal.

In-the-Canal (ITC): Custom-molded to fit the shape of your ear canal for a secure fit

Completely-in-Canal (CIC): A small, custom-made instrument that sits deep within the ear canal for a discreet appearance.

Behind-the-Ear (BTE): A powerful solution designed for more severe losses.

Television Streamer
One of the most common issues caused by hearing loss is the inability to understand television.  People living with untreated hearing loss increase the volume, often to a level that friends or family members find uncomfortable. Many times, that increase does not result in improved clarity. The television does not take into account your type of hearing loss.Â
Â
TV Streamers transmit crystal clear sound directly into your hearing aids, so you can enjoy watching television with your family and friends again (and avoid the arguments). Built in Auracast also provides the ability to stream to more than one set of devices.Â

We offer in-home set up of these devices if requested.
Remote Microphone
A remote microphone is a small, discreet accessory worn by the person you want to hear. It sends their voice directly to your hearing aids, providing additional support when background noise or distance makes conversation difficult.
Â
Whether you are sharing a restaurant meal or talking with family and friends, a remote microphone can help bring the speaker’s voice closer. Built-in Auracast broadcast audio allows that voice to be streamed to multiple compatible devices at once.
